I have been at the YMCA since the beginning of grade 8. I started with  Leaders, and from that have obtained a job as child & youth program leader. The YMCA means a lot to me. Before I started leaders, I was the shyest person ever. I would be the one person alone in a room full of people because I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I am travelling to Sierra Leone because I want to change the world and anything I can do to help me help others makes me unbelievably happy/proud. I want to use the experience to change my own town by sharing my story to change, or help change the perception of others.
