I work at the YMCA in the Child & Youth department. I play games with the kids. I have been a part of the Leadership Group for 8 years, since it began. The YMCA to me is a place where people can come and feel safe and welcome. You don’t have to be a part of that town to belong there. I am travelling to Sierra Leone so that I can help people in my town experience things that they normally wouldn’t be able to. I want to teach people what I learned there. I want to help people there.

My Y is new experiences and including others to encourage everybody to be the best that they can be.
