I’ve been involved with the YMCA Camps since I was a camper at the Barrie site 6 years ago. Since I’ve attended Day Camp, Leadership Camp for two summers, and now have become a Counsellor. What the Y has given me is a choice to be happy and a feeling of belonging and importance. They appreciate each and every person and truly care for them. I have gained confidence and happiness through the years and hope to continue on as a counsellor in hope to affect a child’s life for the better!
